Treasurer Stacy Garrity Endorses Brobson for Supreme Court

Harrisburg, Pa. – State Treasurer Stacy Garrity endorsed Judge Kevin Brobson for Supreme Court today, calling him a leader firmly grounded in the Constitution and Pennsylvania values.

“Kevin Brobson is a judge whose temperament and experience make him the best choice for our state’s high court,” Garrity said. “His entire career has been steeped in a deep understanding of the law and its fair and just application in the pursuit of a better society.”

A native of Montoursville, Lycoming County, Brobson graduated with honors from both Lycoming College and Widener University Commonwealth Law School. He currently serves as President Judge of the Commonwealth Court. He was first elected to the court in 2009 and has chaired the state’s Judicial Conduct Board.

“The past year has shown us the dangers of placing politicians on our state’s high court instead of sensible, reasonable judges who consider the facts of the case and the letter of the law, using our state Constitution as their guide,” Garrity said. “Kevin Brobson is a thoughtful judge who will take the commonsense values of rural Pennsylvania and put them to work for all of our citizens.”

The primary election is May 18, 2021
