SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan

Pennsylvania’s workers and businesses are hurting. Perhaps, I can help.

I learned last week of the SBA’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program. It is a $10,000 loan for small businesses and nonprofits that will convert to a grant. No repayment is required.

Who is qualified? Any small business with fewer than 500 employees (including sole proprietorships, independent contractors and self-employed persons), private non-profit organizations, or veterans’ organizations damaged economically by the COVID-19 pandemic are eligible to apply.

Note:  Our churches are also eligible for the EIDL.

The links below include the online application and further information on the EIDL program. Upon approval, money is wired into the applicant’s bank account.
